Trauma and PTSD we treat
PTSD, complex PTSD (C-PTSD), and trauma from abuse, accidents, loss, violence, or chronic stress — including trauma that drives depression, anxiety, or substance use. Treating the underlying trauma is often the key that finally makes other symptoms loosen their grip.
A trauma-focused approach
We lead with EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a leading evidence-based therapy for trauma, alongside CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and somatic and group work — all delivered by certified trauma therapists at a pace that keeps you safe and grounded.
Our outpatient programs
- PHP — full-day structured care with clinical and psychiatric integration
- IOP — several sessions a week, built around work, school, or family
- IIP — a fully individualized plan for complex needs (private/cash-pay option)
Does insurance cover PTSD treatment?
Usually, yes — under mental health parity law. We’re in-network with both HMO and PPO plans from Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield of California, Health Net, Optum (UnitedHealthcare), and Blue Cross Blue Shield, and we also accept some out-of-network PPO plans, such as Aetna PPO. We verify your benefits free before you commit. (Our IIP program is available as a private/cash-pay option.)

Frequently asked questions
What is EMDR, and does it work for PTSD?
EMDR is a well-researched, effective therapy that helps the brain reprocess traumatic memories so they lose their charge. Our therapists are certified in it.
Do you treat complex trauma (C-PTSD)?
Yes — we treat complex, repeated, and developmental trauma, not just single-incident PTSD.
