Depression we treat

We treat major depressive disorder, persistent depression (dysthymia), and depression that shows up alongside anxiety, trauma, bipolar disorder, or substance use. If depression has stopped responding to medication or talk therapy alone, a structured outpatient program often provides the level of support that turns things around.

Our outpatient programs

Care includes individual therapy, group sessions, psychiatric medication management, and evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, EMDR, and mindfulness. We also offer on-site TMS, a non-medication option for depression that hasn’t responded to other treatments.

Does insurance cover depression treatment?

Usually, yes — under mental health parity law. We’re in-network with both HMO and PPO plans from Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield of California, Health Net, Optum (UnitedHealthcare), and Blue Cross Blue Shield, and we also accept some out-of-network PPO plans, such as Aetna PPO. We verify your benefits free before you commit. (Our IIP program is available as a private/cash-pay option.)
