You deserve a life free from addiction. Let’s start your journey together today.

Totality Treatment Center provides outpatient mental health treatment in Los Angeles — sometimes called mental health rehab — through Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and Individualized Intensive Programs (IIP). We treat depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, and more, including when they co-occur with substance use (dual diagnosis), with evidence-based, individualized care in person and via telehealth across California. We’re LegitScript-certified and licensed by the California DHCS (#190827AP), and in-network with major HMO and PPO plans.

What mental health conditions do you treat?

We treat mental health on its own — and, when substance use is also part of the picture, we treat both together (dual diagnosis), which gives the best chance at lasting recovery.

Looking for “mental health rehab”?

“Mental health rehab” and “mental health treatment” are often used to mean the same thing: structured, professional care to stabilize and heal. At Totality, that care is outpatient — you live at home (or in supportive housing) and come in for treatment — rather than a residential or inpatient stay. For many people, intensive outpatient care delivers the structure they need while keeping them connected to work, school, and family.

Our levels of mental health care

Every level includes individual therapy, group sessions, psychiatric support and medication management, and case management — using evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, EMDR, and mindfulness, with telehealth and hybrid scheduling available.

Does insurance cover mental health treatment?

Yes — under mental health parity law, most plans cover medically necessary mental health treatment comparably to medical care, often including PHP and IOP. We’re in-network with both HMO and PPO plans from Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield of California, Health Net, and Blue Cross Blue Shield. We also accept some out-of-network PPO plans, such as Aetna PPO. We verify your specific benefits and explain any costs for free, before you commit. (Our IIP program is available as a private/cash-pay option.)
