How we treat OCD
We treat OCD and related patterns — intrusive thoughts, compulsions, checking, contamination fears, and more — including OCD that co-occurs with anxiety, depression, trauma, or substance use. Treatment combines cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), including exposure-based work, with psychiatric medication management, group support, and skills to break the obsession-compulsion cycle.
Our outpatient programs
- PHP — full-day structured care with clinical and psychiatric integration
- IOP — several sessions a week, built around work, school, or family
- IIP — a fully individualized plan for complex needs (private/cash-pay option)
Does insurance cover OCD treatment?
Usually, yes — under mental health parity law. We’re in-network with both HMO and PPO plans from Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield of California, Health Net, Optum (UnitedHealthcare), and Blue Cross Blue Shield, and we also accept some out-of-network PPO plans, such as Aetna PPO. We verify your benefits free before you commit. (Our IIP program is available as a private/cash-pay option.)
